ABOUT ME !
I am a UK Based BA Fine Art Student exploring ideas of consumerism, capitalism and how the value of an image can be manipulated. Through drawing, paint, screen print and collage I use my own visual language and phrases to present a satirical narrative on how brands manipulate their audience. I am interested in how an image placed onto a surface takes part on discussing it’s value. Influenced by the street art of the 1980's, tagging is an instrument which I use, placing my language onto materials which have a certain life span which in turn symbolises how trends evolve in our capitalist society.
Passionate about social and political structures, my work is influenced by branding and how visual imagery is a constant, with certain logos being a powerful tool which heightens a product, a way in which is used to manipulate how people spend. This juxtaposition of imagery and value is what my practice examines and questions the repercussions these images have on human behaviour.

Previous works include textile and collage pieces exploring the political dynamic in Britain through looking at the debate surrounding Brexit, using voices of young people as the narrative.
